At the southern edge of the Draa Valley, where the last palm trees give way to the open sands, lies Iharine – our caravanserai at the gateway to the Sahara.
A place of stillness and space, where time slows down and the soul can breathe again.
Here, we welcome you with open arms – and a cup of tea under the wide desert sky.
„Iharine“, the well-mannered camel, is more than a name –
It is a promise: of mindful encounters, of gentle travel, and of reconnection with what truly matters.
Since 2006, we, Karla and Brahim Ahansal, have guided travellers to this sacred place, carried by the ancient wisdom of the desert and its people.
Whether sleeping under a sky full of stars, walking with camels through dunes and silence,
meditating in the vastness or simply listening to the desert wind –
every journey is as unique as the person who undertakes it.
Caravane Rose du Sable is a path beyond the ordinary, guided by heart, rooted in desert wisdom, and steeped in simplicity.
